Having logged in for the first time since June, a stream of "WhatWhatWHAT?" came out of my mouth while I was sitting in my chair at the computer, reading all of the new threads and latest replies to already-existing threads. It is with sad resignation, cemented by recent posts, that I realize I have been lazy in checking the Samanayr forum regularly for the past few months. *hangs head in shame* I'M SORRY! D: I will begin making up for the inattention now.
Even if my commentary is late, taking the same amount of time for Talisman to decide upon a name, when asked to name her beloved pet firebird, here it is:
Yay! Both pet and owner complete each other now. Thank you Sushi for updating the firebird's cert with his new name.
For anyone who is wondering how to pronounce his name, it is 'Zuh-wah-zo.' In the Haitian Creole language, zwazo means "bird." The origins of the indigenous word itself is derived from the French word, oiseaux (which is the pluralized form of oiseau, also meaning "bird").
